SME Sub Committee

The SME Sub-Committee (or Sub-Steering Committee on SME) was established by resolution No.45 s.s.r, dated August 28, 2007. The re-composition of the committee was made following a resolution no. 27 s.s.r, dated November 14, 2008. The committee is part of a policy and strategy mechanism of the Royal Government of Cambodia for private sector development. There are four Sub-Steering Committees under the Steering Committee on Private Sector Development established by RGC. These Sub-Steering Committees are:

  • (i) Sub-Steering Committee on Investment Climate and PPI - chaired by H.E. Mr. Keat Chhon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance;
  • (ii) Sub-Steering Committee on Trade Facilitation - chaired by H.E. Mr. Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister and Minister of Commerce;
  • (iii) Sub-Committee on SME - chaired by H.E. Mr. Suy Sem, Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy; and
  • (iv) Sub-Steering Committee on Corporate Governance - chaired by H.E. Mr. Aun Porn Moniroth, Minister attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary of State of Economy and Finance Ministry.
